Senior Tester (PEGA)

The IMG program MIRA is seeking an experienced Tester to enhance its project team, which is responsible for managing the foundational infrastructure of a case management application. The successful candidate will engage in a variety of tasks including updating and upgrading core software such as PEGA and databases, developing and managing shared functionalities like request handlers, REST services, APIs, and a central data repository. Additionally, the role involves environment management, including monitoring availability, performance, and interfaces, as well as providing data for analyses and functional management of dashboards. The project team consists of a Scrum Master, Business Analyst, Pega Lead System Architect, 2-3 Pega developers, and 1-2 testers, all working in an Agile/Scrum environment. As a Tester, you will be expected to identify and mitigate risks with appropriate testing, independently create and execute testware, proactively communicate and gather information, and develop automated regression tests using Tosca. You will be capable of independently establishing automated test cases within the designated frameworks. The MIRA program focuses on developing an application for managing damage claims and compensations related to mining damage, utilizing technologies such as Pega, Alfresco, and DocGen. This application is part of the RijksZaak platform, implemented across various clients, including IMG. The IMG (Institute for Mining Damage Groningen) is an independent administrative body addressing damage caused by gas extraction in the Groningen field and associated gas storage facilities. The organization emphasizes recovery to prevent further damage and aims for a clear, humane, and efficient handling of claims, deeply connected to the Groningen and Drenthe regions.
