Innovation Designer / Facilitator

The Ministry of Economic Affairs is seeking a results-oriented and experienced Innovation Designer to accelerate, facilitate, and drive multiple innovation projects within the organization. You will be part of the central innovation team, iNova, where collaboration and speed are paramount. The ideal candidate will operate independently and make an immediate impact within the team and the organization. As an Innovation Facilitator, you will guide various innovation processes without needing to delve deeply into the content. You will work with colleagues of varying levels of innovation experience, coaching and facilitating teams while delegating tasks where possible. When projects require additional attention, you will take the initiative to ensure their success. Your role will involve applying social design and design thinking methodologies to address societal and organizational challenges. You will assist colleagues with practical frameworks for complex issues, contribute to program goals and scopes, translate design principles into practical applications, and facilitate workshops and innovation sessions focused on human-centered work and societal impact. As an innovation professional, you will emphasize learning and experimentation, viewing the cessation or pivoting of experiments as valuable outcomes. You will motivate and inspire teams, equipped with a broad toolbox of innovation methodologies, and confidently navigate the dynamics of a governmental organization. The Innovation Support Office (iNova) plays a crucial role in developing and enhancing innovations and the innovation climate within the organization.
