Business Analyst

The Customs Authority is seeking a Business Analyst specializing in Digital Transformation to translate the Digital Transformation strategy and policies into actionable tactics that enhance and expedite planning and decision-making for the Rapid Application Development & Digital Services chain. This role will focus on scaling IT solutions for eCommerce, particularly utilizing AI, within the SAFe framework. The Business Analyst will assist in designing the target landscape and translating it into epics and multi-year IT plans. The Rapid Application Development & Digital Services (RAD & DDV) chain operates within the Data & Digitalization department of the IT Directorate, aiming to accelerate the Customs Authority's digital transformation by developing applications. This initiative will enhance operational efficiency across the chain, better protect the Union, and provide a more seamless user experience for both businesses/citizens and customs officers. The RAD & DDV chain employs innovative methods such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), custom .NET application development, and the procurement of enterprise solutions offered by the Tax Authority's IT organization and the market. We continuously strive for innovation by exploring and implementing service design, low-code platforms, AI, and cloud-agnostic platforms. The RAD & DDV chain collaborates closely with the Sensors and Data chains to jointly impact the digital transformation of the Customs Authority. The Customs Authority is a well-established organization with a strong ambition, operating in various locations including borders, ports, airports, and inland offices. The IT organization of the Tax Authority is responsible for providing ICT facilities, leveraging both internal expertise and external solutions and expertise.
