Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join the iRealisatie cluster, the software development department of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS). This role involves contributing to the PGB2.0 Portal, a key initiative aimed at modernizing the management of personal budgets for care recipients. You will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating closely with various stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. In this proactive role, you will act as a point of contact and proxy Product Owner for a development team, bridging the gap between the Product Owner, internal and external stakeholders, and the development team. Your responsibilities will include quickly adapting to various topics, processing complex information, and structuring it effectively. You will define the operational frameworks for the development team and leverage your technical and domain expertise to contribute to strategy formulation and support team activities such as refinements, reviews, and analysis sessions. Your strong communication skills will be essential as you independently plan, execute, and monitor your activities. With your relevant Agile experience and knowledge of security and privacy (privacy by design), you will guide the Agile team in supporting the Product Owner and ensure clear documentation and communication, with a focus on traceability. You will also be responsible for creating Use Cases (UML), Epics, and User Stories, including Story Mapping and refinement, and managing complex Agile software development projects effectively.
