Release Train Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to join our Agile Release Train (ART) within the DevOps department of the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee. This role is pivotal in facilitating Program Increment (PI) Planning and enhancing collaboration among multiple Agile teams focused on developing groundbreaking solutions at the intersection of safety and innovation. The RTE will leverage their strong coaching, communication, and facilitation skills, along with a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, to drive efficiency and effectiveness across the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing and facilitating PI Planning sessions, ensuring teams are well-prepared and that the planning process is executed smoothly. You will also coach teams to streamline processes and align their visions and roadmaps with overarching organizational goals. Your technical knowledge will enable you to understand the challenges faced by data scientists and developers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages shared responsibility among stakeholders. The DevOps team focuses on various applications in AI, including computer vision and language models, robotics, and 3D printing, contributing to a mix of prototypes, knowledge building, and practical value.
