Network Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Network Specialist to join the Joint IT department at JIVC, specifically within the Projects and Development section located at Volkel Air Base. This role is critical to the implementation of the F-35 project, where you will be responsible for designing and documenting a data center and client network configuration based on basic architectural documentation. Your expertise will also be utilized in hardening the network configuration according to US Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Security Controls (SCs). In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will assist in configuring and documenting other IT systems that the project team is currently rolling out. This dynamic role offers a variety of tasks and the freedom to contribute to solution directions, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a complex and collaborative environment. The project involves the rollout of a DC, Client, and WAN network based on architectural decisions, with a development environment established for unrestricted configuration and testing. Documentation of the configuration and setup must be completed in English, adhering to the guidelines provided by the US Department of Defense.
