Senior Business Analyst

The Ministry of Economic Affairs (RVO / IMG) is seeking a self-sufficient Senior Business Analyst to join the team working on the Pega RijksZaak-based case management system. This role focuses on analyzing complex business issues and translating them into implementable process designs and user stories within Agile teams. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth business and chain analyses (BPMN), performing impact analyses on the information landscape, and gathering, validating, and elaborating on epics and user stories. You will also facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions to create stakeholder buy-in and achieve process optimization. Your advisory role will involve providing recommendations on solution directions and supporting implementations within the Pega architecture. Deliverables include validated process models, impact analyses, ready-to-build user stories, functional specifications, and documented solution scenarios and advisory reports. The IMG has developed an application within the MIRA program for handling damage claims and compensating for value depreciation due to mining damage. This application is built on the RijksZaak platform, utilizing Pega, Alfresco, and DocGen technologies. The IMG operates as an independent administrative body managing damage resulting from gas extraction in the Groningen field and related areas, focusing on physical damage to properties, immaterial damage, and ensuring safety in acute hazardous situations.
