DevOps Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Infrastructure Engineer for our client, DUO Groningen, to join a significant project aimed at automating and standardizing internal production processes. This role involves developing a new platform based on Kubernetes and leveraging open-source software to deliver primary private cloud services. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in a team of internal and external platform/infrastructure engineers, providing both technical expertise and guidance on work methodologies. As part of ODC Noord, the team delivers modern, sustainable, and reliable ICT infrastructure to various government entities in the Netherlands. The work is conducted from DUO-ICT in Groningen, focusing on enhancing the digital workplace within a national context, including the federative Rijkshuisvestingsstelsel. This initiative allows DUO to actively contribute to the ICT service delivery across the government by presenting concrete needs, requirements, and proposals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, innovative thinking, and excellent communication skills, ensuring effective collaboration within the team and with stakeholders.
