Senior Service Manager

The Ministry of Economic Affairs is seeking an experienced Senior Service Manager for the NEO NL project, responsible for organizing, managing, and continuously improving IT service delivery. In this role, you will oversee end-to-end IT services, ensuring coherence between various internal and external service providers while maintaining a stable, high-quality, and future-proof service environment within a rapidly developing organization. Your responsibilities will include leading the entire IT service delivery and collaboration among service providers, monitoring the continuity, quality, and performance of IT services, and professionalizing service management processes according to USM standards. You will organize and chair service reviews with stakeholders and suppliers, identify bottlenecks, risks, and dependencies, and initiate structural improvements. Additionally, you will manage the integration of incident, problem, change, and service request processes, prepare transparent reports on service performance, risks, and compliance, and translate business needs into concrete service agreements. As part of the NEO NL initiative, which is responsible for establishing a new organization for the construction and operation of two new nuclear power plants in the Netherlands, the Senior Service Manager will play a crucial role in connecting the business and demand organization, internal IT functions, and external suppliers. The focus will be on establishing and professionalizing IT service delivery, governance, and supplier management in a complex and highly regulated environment.
