Domain Architect

As a Domain Architect at the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration (Belastingdienst), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture of the entire IT landscape for Customs. You will provide frameworks and guidance while evaluating whether solutions align with established guidelines. Your ability to oversee a complex environment and proactively propose improvements will be essential. You will collaborate with stakeholders at various levels, connecting different parties to achieve integrated solutions. In this role, you will serve as a key partner for management and solution architects, advising on the technical feasibility and organizational viability of proposed solutions. You will take a leading role in developing the architectural runway, creating solution architectures yourself, and supporting other architects in aligning with these frameworks. You will be responsible for maintaining an overview amidst numerous developments while also assessing and adjusting specific solutions as necessary. Promoting architectural practices within Customs will also be part of your responsibilities. This is a unique opportunity as you will engage with various focus areas including process & business, application & infrastructure, custom & market solutions, data and digitization challenges, and AI. You will interact with colleagues from diverse functional groups such as IT, procurement, legal affairs, and user organizations.
