Scrum Master / Agile Coach

Join the Ministry of Finance (Tax and Customs Administration) as a Scrum Master, where you will guide and coach multiple teams in adopting an Agile mindset and successfully implementing iterative developments. You will be part of a newly established cross-departmental Agile Release Train (ART), collaborating closely with other Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Product Managers, and Development Managers. A key responsibility will be to help teams identify and mitigate Single Points of Knowledge, ensuring a smooth flow of information and collaboration. In this role, your empathetic approach will be crucial in building strong relationships within the teams. You will facilitate continuous progress while being attentive to the interests and needs of team members. Together with your fellow Scrum Masters, you will contribute to the development and professionalization of the Generic Support Services department, and work alongside the Release Train Engineer on the department's evolution. Your involvement will truly make a difference. You will also participate in overarching SAFe events and facilitate them as needed, helping to enhance the Scrum Master profession within the department. The Ministry of Finance plays a vital role in maintaining a financially healthy Netherlands by ensuring fair and careful tax collection, which supports essential public services such as healthcare, education, and public transport. The IT organization within the Ministry is responsible for providing ICT solutions, leveraging both internal expertise and external market solutions.
