Medior APEX Developer

The Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) is seeking a Medior APEX Developer to join their Information Management department. In this role, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of new applications, registries, and administrative systems using Oracle APEX technology. Your responsibilities will include creating functional APEX applications and managing master data that integrates with other technologies such as Alfresco and Blueriq. The NVWA is undergoing a significant modernization initiative to renew its ICT landscape, which is expected to continue until 2027. This project involves both the replacement of technologies and the componentization of the landscape, providing a dynamic and evolving work environment. You will work within a collaborative team, employing Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies. The role requires strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of the Oracle stack, including data modeling, web services (JSON, XML), PL/SQL, unit testing, JavaScript, and BI Publisher. You will also be responsible for maintaining code in Git and ensuring effective communication within the team and with other Oracle colleagues.
