Data Quality Coordinator

The Royal Netherlands Marechaussee (KMar) is seeking a Data Quality Coordinator to ensure high standards of data quality in compliance with the Dutch General Data Protection Regulation (AVG) and the Wpg. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing, facilitating, and continuously improving a scalable data quality framework that meets operational and legal requirements. This role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders, including data holders, data stewards, and process facilitators, to promote a culture of learning and data-driven decision-making. In this position, you will develop a uniform quality standard based on the ADG model and implement the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle as a permanent method for data quality management. You will also create reporting and monitoring mechanisms to measure the seven dimensions of data quality: accuracy, completeness, consistency, uniqueness, timeliness, validity, and granularity. Your work will directly support KMar's mission of information-driven operations (IGO), ensuring that data is reliable, usable, and managed with integrity. The role is part of the Business Intelligence Competence Center (BICC), which manages KMar's central data environment, encompassing both structured and unstructured data sources. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of data that underpins KMar's border and security operations.
