Description

We are seeking a skilled UX Researcher to join the DUO department of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science in the Netherlands. In this role, you will independently conduct user research through qualitative and quantitative methods, including respondent recruitment, interviews, survey creation, and usability testing. Your insights will help shape user-centric solutions for various business websites and web applications aimed at educational institutions and administrative bodies. You will analyze research data and translate findings into actionable recommendations for improvement. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with researchers, designers, developers, and policy advisors to enhance the user experience. Additionally, you will contribute to mapping customer journeys, identifying pain points, and reporting your findings through clear presentations and reports for stakeholders, focusing on the impact and feasibility of your insights. Compliance is crucial; you will ensure that all research and documentation meet relevant legal and regulatory standards, such as GDPR and accessibility requirements like WCAG. This position allows you to work partially from home and partially from the Hoftoren location in The Hague, with opportunities to visit colleagues in Groningen and conduct research across the Netherlands.
