Senior Archive Officer

The Ministry of Climate and Green Growth is seeking a Senior Archive Officer to enhance information management related to the oversight of the residual effects of former coal mining in Limburg. The current information regarding coal mining is fragmented across various internal and external systems, leading to inefficiencies in access and management. This role involves collaborating closely with the Information Management team to centralize and structure all relevant data, ensuring it is secure, reliable, and readily available for oversight, research, decision-making, and accountability. You will be responsible for developing and executing a project plan that includes analyzing existing information systems, identifying gaps and risks, and establishing a comprehensive information management improvement plan. This includes centralizing storage, designing a uniform folder structure, and documenting the knowledge and procedures of experienced inspectors. You will also provide training and guidance to inspectors on proper information management practices.
