Test Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join a dedicated team at the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration (Belastingdienst). This role involves setting up automated testing for a newly developed suite aimed at supporting legislative analysis results. The project is currently in a phase where automated testing is both possible and necessary, and you will be responsible for implementing these tests using the ROBOT Framework. You will collaborate closely with the Product Owner, functional modelers, and subject matter experts to ensure comprehensive test coverage and contribute to future functionality testing strategies. Independence and proactive work are essential in this role, as the team currently lacks expertise in test automation. Support will be provided by the Automated Test Competence Center, but they will not create the tests themselves. By the end of this assignment, you will establish a robust foundation for automated testing that the team can build upon.
