IT Project Manager

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented IT Project Manager to lead initiatives aimed at enhancing information management within the Ministry of Defence. This role involves overseeing the development and modification of IT products that support information management, ensuring they meet functional requirements from the business. The successful candidate will be part of the JIVC/BOO IT department, where they will manage project teams, create project plans based on proposals, and ensure timely achievement of project milestones. Initially, the onboarding will focus on one project, with potential involvement in additional projects over time. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the IT sector, particularly in document lifecycle management and information products. Experience with document management systems, metadata, SharePoint, CP4BA, and Tridion is highly desirable. Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Prince2 and/or IPMA, evidenced by relevant certifications, will be an advantage.
