Security Specialist

We are seeking a Security Specialist to join our COC2 and I&V department, focusing on enhancing the security of the Intelligence domain. In this dual-role position, you will strengthen our digital resilience while acting as the vital link between the DevSecOps team and specialized cybersecurity units. Your primary objective is to ensure optimal and secure application performance, enabling Defense personnel worldwide to effectively carry out their duties. As a member of a DevSecOps team, you will proactively address digital threats, resolve security issues, and propose necessary security modifications. You will translate user needs into secure solutions and collaborate effectively with your environment to communicate issues and successes. Your work will involve executing complex security tests, detecting and analyzing security risks in both custom and standard software as well as networks, and determining appropriate mitigating measures. Additionally, you will monitor IDS/IPS systems daily, document findings, and contribute to threat books, risk profiles, and threat scenarios, while also supporting the Security Operations Center during escalations and promoting security awareness within the team.
