Description
The Ministry of Economic Affairs (RVO_IMG) is seeking an experienced Tester to join the MIRA program project team. This team is responsible for managing the foundational infrastructure, which includes executing updates and upgrades of core software such as PEGA and databases, developing and managing shared functionalities like request handlers, REST services, APIs, and the central data database, as well as overseeing environments, including monitoring availability, performance, and interfaces. Additionally, the team provides data for analyses and is responsible for the functional management of the dashboard. The primary work area is in the Groningen/Assen region. Currently, IMG operates 10 customer teams for the development of the case management application based on Pega and Alfresco. Each customer team typically consists of a Scrum Master, a Business Analyst, a Pega Lead System Architect, two or three Pega developers, and one to two testers. As a Tester, you will be expected to help identify risks and mitigate them through testing. A high degree of independence is required in preparing, executing, and maintaining test artifacts. You will be proactive in communication and information gathering. The team is actively working on an automated regression test suite using the Tosca tool, and you will be expected to independently create automated test cases in Tosca within the established frameworks.
Within the MIRA program, IMG has developed an application for the case management of damage reports and compensation for value depreciation due to mining damage. This application is developed in RijksZaak, which is based on the products of Pega, Alfresco, and DocGen. RijksZaak is a platform from DICTU that is implemented across multiple DICTU clients, including IMG.
IMG is an independent administrative body that handles damage resulting from gas extraction in the Groningen field and the cultural gas storage facilities in Norg and Grijpskerk. This can involve physical damage to homes and buildings, immaterial damage, and depreciation of properties. IMG is also responsible for securing acute unsafe situations. We emphasize recovery to prevent further damage and strive to handle claims in a more humane and straightforward manner. Our office is located in Groningen, with a temporary project office in Assen.
At IMG, we are deeply rooted in the Groningen and Drenthe communities. Our work is focused on supporting individuals affected by gas extraction, as we understand that these cases represent real lives. We are committed to providing care and clarity in our processes. Working at IMG means being part of a meaningful mission that makes a difference for the people of Groningen and Drenthe. We offer our employees the freedom and flexibility to balance their work and personal lives, alongside significant investment in personal growth. Our organization is dynamic and adaptable, and our colleagues take pride in our flexibility and responsiveness to change.
