Scrum Master

We are seeking a hands-on Scrum Master to facilitate essential Scrum activities within our teams at the Tax Authority (Belastingdienst). Your primary responsibilities will include conducting daily stand-ups, retrospectives, refinement sessions, and tracking metrics to enhance team performance. Currently, the teams operate in a 'Scrummish' manner, and your role will be pivotal in fully implementing Scrum practices to drive efficiency and collaboration. You will join the Information Provisioning (IV) department, which plays a crucial role in supporting the business processes across the organization. The IBS Business Operations team within IV is responsible for the management, operation, and development of all software systems that aid the Tax Authority's operations. Our internal clients include departments such as Human Resources, Facility Services, and Financial & Management Information. The IT solutions we maintain and implement primarily involve SAP and other purchased software packages. As a Scrum Master, you will work closely with team members throughout the entire project lifecycle, from ideation to implementation. The Tax Authority is committed to ensuring a financially healthy Netherlands by collecting taxes fairly and accurately, which in turn supports essential services like healthcare, education, and public transport. The IV organization is responsible for providing ICT solutions, leveraging both internal expertise and external market solutions to meet evolving demands.
