Infrastructure Engineer (PaaS Windows)

The Infrastructure Engineer will join the Continuous Delivery Windows team at DUO, the executive organization for education in the Netherlands. This role focuses on automating, managing, monitoring, and analyzing the Windows Server platform services and infrastructure for DUO and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW). The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundational knowledge of IT infrastructures and architectures, and will work collaboratively with colleagues across various departments. Strong communication skills are essential, along with analytical thinking, initiative, and decisiveness. Responsibilities include performing technical management of the ICT infrastructure, implementing changes in the PaaS area, automating and scripting services, and advising clients on technology choices. The role also involves monitoring infrastructure, resolving incidents, and maintaining vendor relationships.
