Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the Information Management team at the Netherlands Authority for the Mining Sector (SodM). In this dual role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and IT solutions, ensuring optimal alignment between both domains. You will support approximately 250 employees in effectively utilizing IT systems, particularly in the context of ongoing IT projects and a recent organizational restructuring. Your responsibilities will include translating business requirements into IT solutions, designing and improving business processes, drafting specifications for the IT landscape, coordinating the implementation of IT solutions, gathering user needs, and collaborating with external vendors. Additionally, you will drive improvements in data management, including metadata, data quality, and standardization, while providing support and advice to users within the organization. This position offers the opportunity to develop and implement innovative ideas within a growing and evolving IT landscape, characterized by increasing complexity and external communication demands. You will report directly to the Team Leader of Information Provisioning & ICT.
