The Health and Youth Inspectorate (IGJ) is seeking a Senior Information Analyst to join its team in a pivotal role that bridges business needs and data management. In this position, you will translate business analyses into coherent and future-proof information models, ensuring that the information supply and data usage are optimized. Your responsibilities will include analyzing existing data models, documenting definitions, and advising on data standards while collaborating closely with users, data advisors, and business analysts to identify needs and opportunities for improvement. You will play a crucial role in the FIT program, which aims to modernize the IGJ's IT landscape and support its primary oversight processes. This initiative seeks to create a modular application landscape that provides the necessary flexibility to adapt to evolving work processes and legal responsibilities. Your contributions will directly impact the effectiveness of oversight in the healthcare and youth assistance sectors in the Netherlands. This role requires a proactive and collaborative approach, as you will engage with various stakeholders to ensure that their information and data requirements are met effectively. You will also assess the implications of implementing case management, document management, and relationship management systems, mapping the impact on data flows to develop a comprehensive information model.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or equivalent academic level
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior Information Analyst and/or Data Analyst
  • Proven experience in logical data modeling, including ERD and UML
  • Familiarity with reference architectures such as NORA, GEMMA, DIZRA
  • Knowledge of data architecture and data standards (e.g., RDFS, REST)
  • Experience in domains such as document, relationship, and case management is a plus
  • Experience with data modeling tools (e.g., Enterprise Architect, Enterprise Studio or similar)
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience working with government and healthcare sector stakeholders is a plus
  • Experience in developing API specifications is a plus
