Description

We are seeking a Senior Kubernetes OpenShift Engineer to join our team, focusing on the modernization of legacy applications by transitioning to a Java-based system with a future-proof, scalable, and flexible architecture. This role involves collaborating within an Agile/Scrum environment, where you will be responsible for ensuring code quality, maintainability, and security by design while mentoring junior colleagues. You will work in a complex organizational structure, contributing to a significant modernization initiative that enhances our operational capabilities and supports our strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of demonstrable experience with Docker
  • Minimum 8 years of demonstrable experience with Orchestration, Upstream Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift (4.x), OKD, Managed services (EKS, AKS, GKE)
  • Minimum 8 years of demonstrable experience with Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, Ansible, Crossplane, OpenShift Installer-Provisioned Infrastructure (IPI)
  • Minimum 8 years of demonstrable experience with Networking & Service Mesh, CNI plugins (Cilium, Calico), Istio, Linkerd, OpenShift SDN/OVN-Kubernetes
  • Minimum 8 years of demonstrable experience with Security (DevSecOps) RBAC, Network Policies, OPA/Gatekeeper, Kyverno, RHACS (StackRox), Aqua Security, SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, and Keycloak
  • Minimum 8 years of demonstrable experience with CI/CD & GitOps Yaml, Yaml templates, Kustomize, Helm, ArgoCD, FluxCD, Tekton (OpenShift Pipelines), Jenkins, GitLab CI
  • Minimum 8 years of demonstrable experience with Observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Thanos, ELK/EFK Stack, Jaeger, OpenTelemetry
  • Minimum 8 years of demonstrable experience with Storage, including CSI-drivers, Rook/Ceph, OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF), NetApp Trident, s3 minio
  • Technical HBO degree or equivalent
  • PSM1 certification
  • SAFe 6.0 Agilist certification
  • Fluent in Dutch, both spoken and written
