Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join the Safety Center (VLH) at RIVM, focusing on the development of internal web applications for managing small datasets through CRUD operations. The successful candidate will work closely with the client to create a management application that allows authorized users to view, modify, and input essential data related to measurement locations and equipment. This role involves building a robust collection of Java Spring Boot microservices deployed in a Kubernetes cluster, ensuring seamless integration with a central user registration system and a Postgres database. The application will also provide a REST interface for other applications to access the data effectively. The project is part of a larger initiative to enhance data management and interpretation for daily measurements of radiation doses and nuclide concentrations. The developer will collaborate with the client to regularly test and validate the functionality of the application, ensuring it meets user requirements. The role offers flexibility with the option to work remotely or on-site at RIVM, fostering a collaborative environment with a focus on agile methodologies.
