Description

The Rijksinspectie Digitale Infrastructuur (RDI) is seeking an experienced Senior Service Manager to enhance its service management capabilities. As the organization expands, the current service management workload has increased, necessitating a dedicated professional to focus on tactical responsibilities. The Senior Service Manager will play a crucial role in developing IT Service Management (ITSM) and Business Information Services (BiSL) frameworks, particularly in implementing these processes within RDI and its suppliers. Key responsibilities include managing supplier relationships, overseeing service portfolios, ensuring quality standards, conducting customer satisfaction surveys, and monitoring service level agreements (SLAs). The role also involves collaboration with a strategic ICT coordinator and functional management team, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals. The RDI team consists of 35 professionals, including architects, business analysts, project leaders, and product owners, with a significant focus on service management as part of a transformation program aimed at improving service quality. The organization is committed to enhancing its service management practices at both strategic and tactical levels, making this a high-visibility role with significant impact on the organization's future direction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in ICT or equivalent (5 years)
  • Experience in service level management (5 years)
  • Experience in contract and supplier management (3 years)
  • Experience in configuration management (3 years)
  • Proven knowledge of ITIL (certification required)
  • Proven knowledge of BiSL (certification required)
  • Familiarity with Topdesk (certification preferred)
  • Experience in service alignment at HBO ICT level
  • Knowledge of ASL and SAFe Agile methodologies (preferred)
  • Experience with RijksZaak systems (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft and Windows environments
  • Experience with Jira (preferred)
  • Experience within the Dutch government (preferred)
