Description

We are seeking a Senior Kogito/Java Developer to replace legacy applications with a Java-based system featuring a future-proof, scalable, and flexible architecture. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Business Analysts to analyze complex vaccination calculation processes, identify potential issues, and implement solutions using DMN models. You will also guide junior colleagues in adopting a 'Logic-as-a-Service' philosophy, ensuring clean and maintainable code practices while avoiding unnecessary complexity. You will be part of a dynamic team working in an Agile environment, utilizing Scrum and possibly SAFe methodologies. Your contributions will play a crucial role in modernizing our systems and enhancing our operational capabilities within a complex organizational structure.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience with the Kogito framework and deploying Kogito in a production Kubernetes environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience with BPMN/DMN engines.
  • Minimum 8 years of demonstrable experience with Java (including Java 17 or higher).
  • Minimum 8 years of demonstrable experience with build/dependency frameworks and tools (Git, Maven and/or Gradle, Nexus and/or Artifactory).
  • Minimum 8 years of demonstrable experience with design patterns, clean code, SOLID principles, clean architecture, DDD, TDD, event-driven, and cloud-ready architecture.
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience with Spring Boot.
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience with messaging and data streaming frameworks and tools (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Technical HBO degree.
  • PSM1 certification.
  • SAFe 6.0 Agilist certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience with Docker.
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience with Kubernetes on OpenShift and/or Rancher.
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins and/or GitLab CI and/or Argo CD).
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience with security frameworks (Spring Security, SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, and Keycloak).
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience with REST, OpenAPI, and Swagger.
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL).
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience with automated testing (Cucumber/Gherkin, Cypress, Playwright, JMeter).
  • Minimum 3 years of demonstrable experience with monitoring and observability (Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, Splunk).
  • Fluent in Dutch, both spoken and written.
