Interim Enterprise Architect

Staatsbosbeheer is embarking on a comprehensive digital transformation initiative aimed at establishing a future-proof digital architecture. To guide this process, we are seeking an experienced Interim Enterprise Architect to lead the development and execution of a multi-year architectural vision and change roadmap. This role will be pivotal in aligning the current information systems and application landscape with the strategic direction of the organization, ensuring effective governance and stakeholder engagement throughout the project. As the Interim Enterprise Architect, you will spearhead the Architecture Working Group within the Digital Transformation program. Your responsibilities will include documenting the current (as-is) architecture, conducting a gap analysis, creating a prioritization matrix, developing a capabilities map, and formulating a target architecture with associated principles and scenarios. Additionally, you will produce a capability roadmap and a lifecycle management (LCM) overview with a change agenda to support decision-making and execution planning at the governance level. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including architects and program managers, to ensure that interim results are regularly presented and validated. Your approach will be transparent and adaptable, allowing for both on-site collaboration in Amersfoort (Tuesdays and/or Thursdays) and remote work as needed.
