Back-end Developer (Go)

We are seeking a skilled Back-end Developer proficient in Go to join our team focused on developing a new data retrieval engine and presentation API for the Selectiebesluiten Register. This greenfield project is built on a newly established target architecture, utilizing Hexagonal architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD). The core of the application features a logical data model that enables meaningful sharing of archival information through various API formats. Data will be stored in PostgreSQL, and the presentation layer will leverage Elastic Search or similar technologies. As part of a Scrum team, you will also contribute to the regular maintenance of existing applications, including the transformation of current data delivery components to align with the new central target architecture. The Selectiebesluiten API will be utilized by another part of the same team, fostering close collaboration. Currently, selection decisions are published in PDF format, accessible only to professionals involved in their creation. With the new Archiefwet coming into effect in 2027, which mandates improved accessibility for citizens, a more user-friendly solution is essential. Your team will provide the necessary data for this new presentation method.
