Security Process Manager

The CJIB is seeking an experienced Security Process Manager to establish, implement, and secure information security processes within the IT & Data organization. In this key role, you will shape Information Security Management in an organization that follows the ITSM/ITIL4 process model. You will develop processes and ensure their sustainable integration into the organization, empowering teams to execute them independently. At the end of your assignment, you will hand over the established processes and methodologies to a permanent staff member. Your responsibilities will include setting up vulnerability management, implementing a Security Incident process including the PDCA cycle, designing processes for operationalizing threats from Cyber Threat Intelligence, coordinating recovery processes during security incidents, establishing log management, and preparing for forensic investigations, all while enhancing existing IT processes. You will also ensure that developed processes and frameworks are embedded within the IT & Data policy framework. The Process Management team is relatively new and focuses on establishing processes according to ITSM/ITIL4, with Information Security Management being a new area of focus. Given the increasing importance of security, we need a specialist who can design and implement security processes, further professionalize existing processes, ensure their integration within the organization, and enable practitioners to execute these processes autonomously. The CJIB is an executive agency of the Ministry of Justice and Security, located in Leeuwarden, employing approximately 1,900 staff members to efficiently execute tasks supported by modern ICT. The IT organization operates with DevOps teams responsible for developing and managing high-quality ICT solutions.
