Description

We are seeking an experienced SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead the establishment, facilitation, and optimization of Agile Release Trains (ARTs) within a complex and mission-critical environment. As an RTE, you will be the driving force behind our Agile transformation, creating an environment where teams can perform at their best and ensuring that our ARTs deliver predictable, scalable results that provide significant value. Your expertise in building new trains and enhancing existing ones will have a tangible impact on strategic initiatives characterized by high technical complexity. You will bring structure to chaos, clarity to fragmentation, and rhythm to continuous change. In this role, you will: - Establish an Agile Release Train from the ground up, including processes, structures, tools, and mindsets. - Facilitate PI Planning, inspect & adapt events, scrum of scrums, and other SAFe ceremonies. - Guide product management and architecture in creating a powerful shared vision and roadmap. - Promote continuous improvement within teams, trains, and the organization. - Identify and resolve impediments that hinder value flow and predictability. - Ensure alignment across teams, stakeholders, and domains, even in a technology-rich environment with numerous dependencies. - Coach teams and leadership in lean-agile principles to foster sustainable organizational maturity. You will be joining the Land-Based IT department and the Foxtrot program, which develops and maintains C2 applications and communication infrastructure for operational command. The team is focused on developing and integrating C4I&I systems within both static and mobile domains. As part of our commitment to agile methodologies, both Land-Based IT and the Foxtrot program will implement SAFe to realize their value deliveries. The LACE has been tasked with transforming both organizational components, responding to increased threats and the need for growth and renewal. Your role as an experienced RTE will be crucial as we prepare to scale to multiple ARTs to achieve our portfolio objectives.
