Cloud Engineer

The Ministry of Defense is seeking a Cloud Engineer with a strong affinity for security issues. As a member of our agile team, you will contribute to the development and management of our private cloud platform, which provides various virtualization services primarily based on VMware within the IaaS/PaaS and CaaS portfolios. Your role will focus on the ongoing development and support of the platform, including self-service applications (portals and APIs) and facilitating the increasingly automated use of the platform by Application and Software Development teams. In your daily tasks, you will support and advise management teams on further development and automation through workflows and code using automation software. The Ministry has made significant strides in establishing a stable private cloud platform over the past few years, utilizing cloud-native techniques. This multidisciplinary team has built the platform using Agile methodologies, with two Scrum teams dedicated to optimizations, improvements, implementations, and onboarding new clients. In a dynamic environment where the Ministry is modernizing its entire IT infrastructure, this team is at the forefront of addressing all associated challenges.
