Senior Java Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join the IV Customs team, specifically within the DECO (Douane eCommerce) unit. This role involves the development, management, and availability of IT solutions related to customs declaration processes. The successful candidate will work in an Agile environment, contributing to the development of new applications and enhancements to existing ones, ensuring that the team remains adaptive and responsive to changing requirements. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for building applications, designing solutions, and conducting testing as needed. You will actively share your knowledge of DECO applications and processes with the team through documentation and knowledge-sharing sessions. The team operates in a multidisciplinary setup, typically consisting of around nine members, including developers, a Scrum Master, and a Product Owner. Work is organized in two-week sprints, with deliverables defined in collaboration with the Product Owner and business stakeholders. The DECO application plays a crucial role in the customs declaration process, leveraging a technology stack that includes Java, MQ, REST, SOAP web services, and XML databases on z/OS, with a front-end built on Angular.
