Description
We are seeking an experienced Tester to join the MIRA program at the Ministry of Economic Affairs (RVO_IMG). In this role, you will be part of a platform team responsible for managing the foundational infrastructure, which includes software updates and upgrades (such as Pega and databases), developing and maintaining shared functionalities (request handlers, REST services, APIs, and a central data repository), managing environments, and providing data for analysis. You will also be involved in functional management of dashboards.
As a Tester, your primary responsibilities will include identifying risks and mitigating them through appropriate testing, independently creating, executing, and maintaining test artifacts, proactively communicating and gathering information, contributing to an automated regression test suite using Tosca, and independently developing automated test cases within established frameworks.
You will work closely with a diverse team, typically consisting of a Scrum Master, Business Analyst, Pega Lead System Architect, 2-3 developers, and 1-2 testers, all operating within an Agile/Scrum methodology. The MIRA program focuses on the development of an application for handling damage reports and depreciation due to mining-related damage, utilizing technologies such as Pega, Alfresco, and DocGen. This application is part of the RijksZaak platform, which is implemented across various governmental organizations.
The Institute for Mining Damage Groningen (IMG) is an independent administrative body that addresses damage caused by gas extraction in the Groningen field and the gas storage facilities in Norg and Grijpskerk. The organization, which employs around 1,000 staff, is committed to recovery, preventing further damage, and handling cases with care and humanity.
