Java Developer

We are seeking a skilled Application Developer / Java Developer for our client, DUO Groningen, a governmental organization responsible for executing educational policies in the Netherlands. In this role, you will contribute to the modernization of examination processes by developing and enhancing IT solutions for various stakeholders, including employees, candidates, and examiners. As a software engineer, you will analyze existing applications, identify improvement areas, and lead the development of new functionalities within the examination landscape. You will work independently within a DevOps team, ensuring high-quality code and timely delivery of project components. Your responsibilities will include backend development in Java, implementing iterative releases, and facilitating knowledge transfer to the team.
